Writer of Donald Trump’s biography has claimed the President – elect kicked him off his Florida golf course.
Harry Hurt III wrote Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J Trump in 1993. The biography was less than flattering towards Trump and contained his entire divorce deposition. His former wife Ivana Trump said he had raped her although later she said she was talking metaphorically about the incident.
According to Mr Hurt time has not been a good healer for Mr Trump, who promptly ordered him to leave his golf club in Florida, where he was enjoying a round with Republican doner David Koch and other friends.
Mr Hurt said that he played at the course a few years ago and Trump had been civil to him. He told CNN that he wanted to show respect to the new president by playing on his golf course. Mr Hurt wrote on Facebook, “I said, ‘Congratulations, sir,’ and shook his hand. Trump said, ‘You were rough on me, Harry. Really rough. That s**t you wrote.’”
Mr Hurt said he looked him in the eye, and said, “’It’s all true”. Trump replied, “Not in the way you wrote it”
A security detail escorted him from the course, and he and his friends were ejected. David Koch left of his own accord.
Another member of Mr Hurt’s group, John Damgard confirmed that they were asked to leave the course by Donald Trump. He said, “We were on the putting green. Harry came and said Mr Trump doesn’t want us to play’. We went to a different place.”
President – elect, Donald Trump is to be sworn in as President in a few weeks time. He is expected to sign bills that the Republican Party wants to enact as soon as possible, discuss alleged Russian hacking, and nominations for key positions.
