Last night’s Champions League battle between Chelsea and AS Roma was nothing short of a battle of two worlds.

The tie was a six-goal thriller that saw Chelsea rescuing a point through a sublime deft Eden Hazard Header.

Chelsea was without Midfield powerhouse N’golo Kante, this situation forced them to play a 3-5-2 system. David Luiz started in midfield with Christensen deputizing for the Brazilian at center back.

At a post-game press conference, Conte admitted that Chelsea was below par as they conceded to a well-coordinated Roma attack.

He blamed his team’s failure to impress on injury woes, after pulling out David Luiz who picked up a calf injury during the course of the game.

Jose Mourinho at a post-match champions league press conference, took a subtle dig at Chelsea’s Content, saying he wasn’t like other “managers who cried over injury”

In a response to Mourinho’s comments when he was questioned by a reporter that sort his opinion over Mourinho’s dig, Agitated Conte in almost explosive tone directly said Mourinho should observe himself before casting aspersions at him.

Not Aimed At Conte

He said Mourinho should observe what he did at Chelsea the season before he became Manager of Chelsea, and winning the Premier league the first time of asking.

Chelsea is set to taking on Manchester United for the first time on November 5. In a press conference ahead of the weekend game, Mourinho in a response to Conte’s bants attempted to claim his “cry” comments weren’t directed at Conte.
