We’re approaching the end of the first month of the release of Ubisoft Entertainment SA’s (EPA:UBSFY) The Division. Hordes of players have been grinding through the post-apocalyptic New York City and as more players reach the level cap, so increase the search of new things to do in the game.
According to a recent report, some players have been able to glitch their way into a brand new area near the Dante’s Run safe house. Interestingly, the newly discovered area appears to be complete and ready to be explored by players. Unlike the upcoming operation’s The Last Stronghold area, which disappoints with just a dead end tunnel, this new area seems to have a purpose.
It includes a large dock with a massive battleship in the background, along with a huge and considerable open area that has essentially been locked off in the current raid. While this area is inaccessible right now, it could very well be part of future multi-group activities and raids which, as we all know, have been planned by Ubisoft. This area is also near the Central Park area which was discovered by players using a similar glitch few weeks ago. Those who want to access the locked off area can use this video to repeat the method discovered.
That being said, it is worth noting that all of this is mere speculation right now and there is no official announcement on the matter. We would advise you to wait for an official announcement on the matter before getting excited. It’s amazing to see how Ubisoft has managed to accurately recreate New York City, with numerous landmarks, in all of its glory.
