Developer Monolith is preparing a sequel for 2014’s Shadow of Mordor, suggests new evidence. As discovered by NerdLeaks, a stunt actor named Lauren Mary Kim has a particularly interesting entry in her resume.
The actor who has previously worked for many notable games like God of War: Ascension, Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty, Dead Rising, has updated her resume to mention Shadow of Mordor 2 as well. This strongly suggests that the sequel of the first game is in development at Monolith Studios.
Furthermore, the actor has listed Blur as her employer. Blur studio is responsible for many CGI trailers that you may have come to see for numerous video games. In that light, we should expect to see a CGI announcement trailer soon.
E3 2016 is just months away, and is the most likely place for the game to be revealed to public. Shadow of Mordor received positive reception from fans and critics. Aside from The Lord of the Rings universe, which many found as an interesting aspect of the game, the featured gameplay managed to hook gamers. The Nemesis system was particularly the highlight of the game, generating unique enemy personalities that pay close attention to the player’s progress in the game.
Shadow of Mordor 2 will no doubt be a great addition to the already awesome lineup of 2016. Whether it will release this year or not is the question now.
